Our Coaches

  • I believe fitness is a journey toward achieving an ideal lifestyle. As your guide, my intent is to make the journey as rewarding, fun, and motivating as possible! I know this firsthand because I've followed that path, starting at a young age.

I began my love of fitness at the age of 14. At that time I started working with a personal trainer to take my soccer game to the elite level. Little did I know that this relationship would change my life and lead me to my main passion: coaching people and showing them how to obtain their optimal well-being with compassion and diligence.

After my time as a collegiate soccer and track athlete, I completed a master’s degree in Integrative Health where I learned how to create individualized, client-centered approaches to wellness based on the most progressive strategies in preventive health and lifestyle behaviors. I still enjoy soccer, along with hiking and middle/long-distance running.

I am certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Stretch to Win Institute, and Pre- & Postnatal Coaching

BFR is a game-changer for my women patients, especially as they age. Gaining strength and muscle mass is so key to vitality, but women often have a hard time with weight lifting. We are all great at hiking, walking and Peleton-ing, but not as good at strength training. I think BFR offers women a way to improve strength using lower weight and this makes it less intimidating and more fun. Plus it’s super efficient for busy women. There are many studies that support the benefits of BFR for rehabilitation, osteoporosis prevention and muscle recovery and no studies have reported adverse events, including blood clots (which is the most frequently asked question I get about BFR), or heart/circulation effects. BFR is also wonderful for aging patients to help prevent age-related muscle loss.

Here are some of the many benefits of BFR training:

  • Improved aerobic capacity and cardiovascular endurance

  • Increased muscle mass

  • Improved healing and recovery

  • Improved bone density

  • Reduced pain levels

  • Increased strength

  • Reduced blood pressure
